HEART OF WILDFIRE events

GOLDEN HEARTS AWARDS
Golden Hearts AwardsGreetings everyone,
Over the course of a few years, many drawings related to the manga project HEART OF WILDFIRE have been made for different occasions: contests, fanart, commissions, requests, etc.
As you all know, DeviantArt bestows what we call DAILY DEVIATION awards to art pieces that possess exceptional originality and quality. For the pieces done for H.O.W., I would love to give to the artists that same kind of bestowal.
So here's my idea: THE GOLDEN HEARTS AWARDS
To put it simply, it is like a Daily Deviation (with WAY LESS exposure unfortunately :(, sorry) but given to arts exclusively related to the HEART OF WILDFIRE manga project.
Heres's how it work:
- Note me with a note that says "Golden Hearts Suggestion". Only suggest 1 per day.
- Tell me the art you'd like to see awarded for a Golden Heart award and why.
- The suggested piece, if selected, will be posted in the ~RedRoninsVault account, embedded with a golden layer and a golden flame symbol to it.

HEART OF WILDFIRE - Update (05/03/13)

Greetings everyone,
(UPDATE ON THE H.O.W. project from :iconredronins:)


Recently, our character designer :iconHaganenochibisan : has provided to the project some new design allowing us to start the drawing process of chapter 01. It is good news. Nonetheless, me, ~FallenAngelGM, being the sole source of financial ressources for the project, it can be very difficult for me to make the ends meet. It always has been that way, most of the time.

Fellow deviant :iconsuzuran: did a manga project not long ago and was able to gain the money needed by using KICKSTARTER.com and I decided to use the same process to cover the finances for at least the first chapter.

Being Canadian, I can’t use this website, so I went to an alternative one: INDIEGOGO.com who has the same process. For those curious about these sorts of websites and what they do, please click the following link: [link]

As for the people who will be willing to donate, the contributors, I am thinking of giving away bookmarks, posters, one-page calendars of 2014 (since 2013 is already 5 months old), etc. If you have other suggestions of things related to HEART OF WILDFIRE I could give away, your ideas are more than welcome.

So for this summer, we’ll be working on two things:

- The manga pages. I can order some pages to be done slowly, so I’ll try to deliver you some previews of chapter 01.
- The HEART OF WILDFIRE IndieGogo fundraising event to raise money for the project to at least be able to realize chapter 01 without ruining me financially, lol.

If anyone is willing to help us as well, all the help is more than welcome as well (especially in video editing.)
