MASCOT CONTEST - ALL INFOWell, here's all you need to know about the contest

INFO:
Members have two options: to use the old mascot as reference (http://gabbyta.deviantart.com/art/Fighting-Laziness-Mascot-Entry-191564487) -for those of you who don’t know or don’t have the time to create a character – or to create your own OC from scratch. For the latter option, it’s important to highlight that the character may be a person, animal or anthro (no hentai or gore, please) and it must be created by you specifically for this group (i.e. you cannot use existing characters –like fanart- or mascots that you’ve submitted to other groups, or stuff like that.)
Submit your entry to the folder "MASCOT CONTEST." You may submit AS MANY ENTRIES AS YOU WANT but, in that case, you cannot win more than one prize (i.e. the same person cannot be in the 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd place, since that would not be fair.)
What are we looking for in the new mascot? For it to convey the group's mess

For judging I will need to contact everyone and there will be some behind the scenes stuff... (seriously how are we supposed to judge everyone's amazing efforts, this is overdrive) I am not giving a date when the winners are announced. But I will follow the timeline mentioned before.
A question about edits- minor edits are allowed. For example changing of levels/channels or if you forgot to colour one bit. Big changes means that regardless of the time you entered I will move your entry to the late folder. I've capped all the submissions!

As we only received 2 entries, we decided to not only extend the deadline but also to change the theme overall to make it easier for you guys, so hopefully some more people enter and the lovely prizes don't go to waste.

Macabre OC ContestAfter some debating, I have results!
First Place: $30 USD or the equivalent in dA points

Awarded because it is incredibly, incredibly creepy to look at... I actually can't look at the picture for more than a couple of seconds before I always want to navigate away.
Second Place: $20 USD or the equivalent in dA points

The design of this creature is so cool, while also being really appealing to look at! I like that he lacks legs.
Third Place: $10 USD or the equivalent in dA points

This is super eerie and interesting to look at at the same time, one of the few that lacked a definitive human form. Worm-like creatures are always very interesting.
